As a Media Buyer, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing paid media campaigns across multiple digital platforms. Your primary goal is to maximize return on ad spend (ROAS) and achieve client KPIs (e.g. CPA, CPL, CTR) while managing budgets efficiently and staying ahead of industry trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Planning & Strategy
- Collaborate with success managers to translate client objectives into effective media plans.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify target audiences and channel opportunities.
- Create media buying strategy for each client.
- Media Buying & Execution
- Set up, launch, and manage paid campaigns on platforms such as Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn.
- Allocate daily/weekly budgets across channels and ad sets to meet performance targets.
- Optimization & Performance Analysis
- Continuously monitor campaign performance, analyzing metrics (ROAS, CPA, CPC, CPM, CTR) and making data-driven adjustments.
- Going through the inbox and comments section of the clients’ social media presence to gain feedback
- Run A/B tests on creatives, audiences, bidding strategies, and landing pages to improve efficiency.
- Prepare clear, actionable reports for clients and internal stakeholders, highlighting successes, learnings, and next steps.
- Present monthly performance reviews, forecasting, and strategic recommendations. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with third-party vendors (e.g. ad networks, affiliate partners) to negotiate rates, placements, and value-add opportunities.
- Coordinate with the creative team to ensure ads meet platform specs and brand guidelines.
- Stay up to date with platform updates, emerging ad formats, and best practices.
- Propose and pilot new tools, automation scripts, or reporting dashboards to streamline workflows.
Qualifications & Skills
- 1-3 years of experience as a media buyer
- Creates ads on Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Ads Manager, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.
- Experience with campaign optimization and A/B testing.
- Obtain Meta Certified Media Buying Certificate
- Analytical Skills and Budget Management
- Understanding of audience segmentation and targeting.
- Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.
